Environmental awareness
Witte van Moort is continuously accepting its responsibility with respect to Environmental Awareness. We aim to minimise our ecological footprint by using resources efficiently, implementing energy-saving technologies and reducing waste. In several areas, Witte van Moort is already ahead of current (international) regulations in this respect.
Examples include the complete purification of welding gases beyond the legal standard and monitoring the carbon footprint with a reductive target.
“Cradle to Cradle”
Circular economy
The circular economy is increasingly replacing the linear economy, or the throw-away culture. The separate waste streams implemented early on at Witte van Moort are a fine example of the circular economy. Scraping metal and reusing it falls under the definition of ‘Cradle to Cradle’.

100% green energy
Sustainable Energy
Promoting the bicycle scheme, charging stations for employees and heat recovery systems are some examples where Witte van Moort is ahead in deploying and using 100% green energy.

The (local) social responsibility is also reflected in the various sponsorships, such as being the main sponsor of the Dutch Paralympic Dressage Team (social return) and the commitment to long-term partnerships with (local) schools.

This on top of the already existing ISO Certifications 14001, 3834 & 9001.
